In addition to its own powers, General Council also helps in the implementation of projects of local partners. So with my colleague Bally Bagayoko, Vice-President of the General Council, we support all grants that can enrich the project on Saint-Denis.
We thus have occurred during the month of November on two important projects for the voting of grants standing committee of the General Council
- draft parents' house in Saint-Denis after solicitation of the town: she will answer needs of families on issues of parenting, in partnership with all local stakeholders, and will play an important role in terms prevention and information. The grant received is € 9 000
- construction by Plaine-Commune-Housing (PCH) of a building of 39 housing units located at 104 rue Gabriel Peri. This falls within the policy framework of the General Council in favor of social housing system implemented in February 2007, chaired by Hervé Bramy and proposal of the Communist group and Citizens for a left alternative. The grant received is € 214 500, giving a rent as affordable as possible.
