Given the urban context, the party was coming urban paste these units together to meet habitat typical town in the Nord Pas-de-Calais, and thereby ensure maximum space at the rear gardens (which you can enjoy the space above).

We absolutely important to avoid having intermediate spaces between the houses lost and maintain the cohesion of the ensemble.

The natural slope of the land also makes this site interesting by varying the height of each dwelling, but not artificial avoiding the pitfall of monotony.

Once the party selected, it was necessary to solve the problem of living in adjoining houses. The trick is therefore the project is "yes, the houses hold hands" and this picture shows perfectly the life of welded "northerners", but if we look more closely at the layout of each dwelling, we see immediately that a buffer zone just separate each dwelling (ground floor by the garage and terraces by an R). This provides a large buffer space to each dwelling acoustic comfort. This makes it very pleasant to live in terraced houses respecting our cultures while enjoying the calm and comfort acoustic are very contemporary concerns equally important.

The second major challenge of this site was the immediate presence of rods in R 4. To minimize the vis-à-vis, a filter is made to the terraces at an R of each unit. This filter can be planted. The terraces and gardens are well sheltered from view and the privacy of family life is preserved.

The site is located in the plane Montgri neighborhood.

The future project will consist of a set of 12 individual houses.

Tickets has naturally led to our thinking on suburban housing type so as not to intensify the effect too "built" on this area. This bias allows us indeed to have a less dense buildings from the street and to penetrate gardens and vegetation to the heart of the street.

The accommodations are largely open to large terraces facing south-west.

The large band of existing trees of the southwestern limit was kept at the back of the field to protect the homes of noise from the railway track below. It will also be lined with a hedge.
